Privacy
What we collect when you visit this website, and why.
In short
This website uses no cookies and no advertising or social media trackers. We count visits anonymously to understand which pages are useful, and we can't identify you from that data.
Who is responsible
Global Space Services AB, Ripvägen 20, 981 41 Kiruna, Sweden, is responsible for this website. Questions about privacy go to info@gss.space.
Visitor statistics
We use Umami, a privacy-focused analytics service, with data stored in the EU. When you load a page, Umami records:
- the page you visited and the website that sent you here, if any
- your browser, operating system, device type, screen size and language
- your country, worked out from your IP address
- clicks on our email, phone and LinkedIn links
Umami doesn't use cookies and doesn't store your IP address. Visits are counted with an identifier that changes regularly, so you can't be followed over time or across websites. We only see totals. If your browser sends a "Do Not Track" signal, nothing is recorded. Statistics are kept for up to six months.
Umami delivers its script and receives data through Vercel and Cloudflare, US-based network providers, via their servers in the EU. Our reason for collecting statistics is our legitimate interest in understanding how the website is used and improving it (GDPR article 6(1)(f)).
Hosting
The website is hosted by OVHcloud in the EU. Like any web server, it keeps technical logs, including IP addresses, to deliver the site and protect it against attacks. We don't use these logs for statistics.
When you contact us
If you email or call us, we use your details only to reply and to handle our business with you. Our email runs on Microsoft 365.
Your rights
You can ask us what personal data we hold about you, and ask us to correct or delete it, by writing to info@gss.space. You can also complain to the Swedish Authority for Privacy Protection (IMY), imy.se.
